Iodine-containing foods can prevent this disease to some extent.Cabbage and cauliflower are okay to eat in moderation. But if they are consumed in excess, they can cause goiter.

Goiter:

Goiter is the overgrowth of the thyroid gland. The disease was caused by lack of iodine. Goiter is seen as an upward and downward movement of saliva in front of the neck. Goiter may be due to hypo and hyperthyroidism. Cancer affecting the thyroid gland is another cause.This may require a blood test, in addition to a blood test. Hyperthyroidism is a condition in which thyroid hormone increases. It is more common in women. The main cause is autoimmune graves. The disease can be inherited.

Diagnosis can be made by measuring thyroid hormone in the blood. In addition, THS levels are low. Treatment involves the destruction of thyroid cells by surgery or by radioactive iodine.
